We first became involved in German Shepherds with the purchase of a super obedience dog who finished his CD title with three scores all over 195. This dog went on to be the anchor dog of the 3X GSDCA National Scent and Hurdle Team for the GSDC of Wisconsin. Our next goal was to acquire a dog that could not only perform in the obedience ring but also compete in the conformation ring. We achieved that goal and now have bred and/or owned 19 Champions and 5 "Register of Merit" dogs. All of this has been accomplished by breeding no more than one litter per year and maintaining a relatively small kennel of 8-10 dogs at any given time. Our "Faith" was the #1 producing, Top 20 ROM bitch for OFA offspring in 1999. Now, 28 years from our beginning, our priorities remain the same as they were in 1978...the dogs must be sound both structurally as well as mentally.
